Saving money for something takes time and hard work. You have to spend money on gifts and you have other things you want. But saving pennies counts! Working for extra dollar may help! Avoid spending any extra money like for a bag of chips, unless you need it! Finally, If you want to save your money or earn more, start a little business! Here are some ideas for each season:
Summer
- Mow lawns
- Make lemonade
- have a garage sale
- Tend a garden and sell the veggies, fruit, flowers, or whatever you grow
- Have a car wash
Fall
- Rake leaves
- Make hot cider
Winter
- Make Hot cocoa
- Shovel snow
- Use a Snow blower to get rid of snow
- put salt on peoples icy stairs
Spring
- Enter a spelling bee
- Enter a race
- Join a contest
A lot of these things you can do year around, so start that hot cocoa maker or gather up that old junk, because your making money!
