My friend Kel came up with this great contest criteria:
Jhon was planning on 'Trick or Treating' with his friends Kyle and Jonathen. However Kyle and Jonathen are going to Toilet Paper an elderly ladies home and Jhon is good friends with that nice women. They are also going to break into the abandoned house and vandalize it. He was always told "Treat others as you want to be treated" and he would never want that to happen to him. He knows if he does go with them he can get into a lot of trouble, not only with his parents, but also with the police. But he also knows if he doesn't go with them, they'll call him names like "SCARDEY CAT" and "CHICKEN", and they'll make fun of him for a LONG time! If you were him what would you do? What advice or comments do you have to share with him? The best comments and advice wins!! GOOD LUCK!!!
So follow this criteria and come up with some ideas for Jhon and comment here and I will pick a winner on Halloween! Thanks Kel to for the great criteria!!!

Hey (It's Victoria just so you know, my computer's freakin') Well, he can do a lot of things.
ReplyDeleteHe can tell them he has a party or something to go to, or his parents told him to stay in. If in doubt, always blame your parents for keeping you in. Then, John can tell his parents why he's not going.
Or, he can go right up to them and say, what the h*** do YOU think you're doing. It's not cool to egg/ toilet paper a house. If it were me, I'd tell my friends all the crap they could get in with the police, etc.
Or just tell the police what they plan to do. They'd probably tip off their parents and keep them in. That way, there's no way they can be stupid.
I would tell him not to go with them. If they want to do that then they aren't his friends anymore. I once had a friend (that later i found out he was my cousin) who was hanging out with the wrong group of kids and i finally told him i really couldn't hang out with him anymore.
ReplyDeleteI would tell Jhon to do a variaty of things. He could:
ReplyDelete1. Just ignore it and go "trick or treating" with another friend or family member/members
2. He could tell his parents what they were doing and ask if he could just stay home and give Kyle and Jonathan a reason why he can't go with them.
3. He come right out and state that he does not want to do it and why. Then just walk away.
4. He could tell the police/other authority figure what they were planning and when/where.
If he were to do one of these things, then he could stay out of trouble and maybe save them from trouble.

I would call police or tell my parents about what Jhon and johnothen are going to do.Then I would go trick-ot-treating.....

2 Punch your two friends, and tell them it is a stupid idea and walk off.
3 Take the toilet paper, and TP THEM> Or Eggs, and Egg them.
4 Pretend to go with them, and when their backs are turned, make a run for it, and go home.
