Halloween Contest Winner!

OMG I forgot about my contest!!!! I have just been so busy I never go back to it! But I had the winner decided before Halloween, that counts... RIGHT!? JK, anyway, her is the winning comment!

I say that Ally, her mom and her friends should try to work out a compromise, because that is ALWAYS the best thing to do! If the compromise doesn't work Ally should just tell her friends what her gut feeling tells her, because that is ALWAYS the best too! I say if your BEST FRIENDS don't work with what you feel is best in this kind of situation, then they are not your BFFS! EVERYONE'S priority should be that Ally is SAFE! Who knows what could happen on Halloween!

YAY! I haven't had a contest in a LONG TIME! For this contest, give advice for this problem:

Ally wants to go out trick or treating with her BFF's. Her friends want her to come with them, WITHOUT HER MOM, but Ally's mom wants to come along to make sure she is safe. Ally would like to have her mom, but thinks trick or treating by herself would be fun. And Ally is afriad that her friends will make fun of her and say she is a scardy cat!;(

Becoming Confident

Some people are born shy, very shy. But others are born fearless and full of confidence. Good friends support you when you need it, and that can always make you more confident. But sometimes if there is no friend around to help. When those hard and lonely times come, tell your self all of these things:

• Your an amazing person! Don't let an audience or a bully make you think otherwise!
• You can do anything if you try your hardest!
• Even if you don't win or get a standing ovation, the best thing is that you tried your hardest and that's the most you can ask for!
• You have family and friends who, even if they aren't here right now, support you with all their heart!

So shut out that voice who is telling you you can't do or it you'll make a fool of yourself and refresh your brain with positive thoughts that will make you and your peers happy and confident! Winning or losing isn't your game, your confidence and happiness is!

Fightin' Friends:(

What do you do when you get into a fight with your BFF? Well today I am going to give you some tips on how to handle a fight, how to avoid a fight, and how to end a fight!

• Don't give your friend the silent treatment- Without communication, how will you ever solve the problem?
• LISTEN! This is probably the most important. Don't say what you want to say and ignore your friend because maybe you are wrong.
• Try to compromise- If you want to go to the park but your friend would rather go to a movie, suggest if you could maybe go to a movie in the park!
• Don't ask other people to take sides in the argument. It's best just to keep it between the one you are fighting with

And guys, remember BFF's can't stay angry forever, right? When you make up, you'll think that the fight you had was the silliest thing ever! But sometimes, even the silliest thing can be made into a really big deal if you don't handle it right!
